Lewis & Clark Boat House and Nature Center

The boat house, located in St. Charles, Missouri, required a logo that would reflect its dual nature as a Missouri River natural history museum and a Lewis & Clark history museum housing full-scale, functioning replicas of the riverboats used by the 1804 expedition. These boats were used in the 2004-2006 national bicentennial reenactment.

Secondary versions of the logo for more horizontal formats are shown below. Both the boat and "Lewis & Clark" were enlarged in the version at lower right, which was designed for very small applications.
